THE VENUES
Rooftop Social
Intimate Rooftop Patio
A rooftop bar and patio in the heart of downtown Canon City, with mountain views and a cocktail-forward menu. A 2,000 square foot deck that is perfect for solo artists, duos, and smaller ensembles. Live music on Saturdays plus acoustic Friday sets.
Whitewater Bar & Grill
Main-Stage Outdoor Patio
The largest outdoor patio venue in the region, on Highway 50 at the entrance to the Royal Gorge, holding roughly 400 guests. A full bar and a World Famous BBQ kitchen serve through the show. Saturday live music packs the patio every week with locals and Royal Gorge adventure-day visitors.
Canon City sits at the mouth of the Royal Gorge, one of Colorado's top tourism corridors. Both venues draw a captive crowd of guests coming off a day of rafting or ziplining and ready to make a night of it.
WHAT WE OFFER TOURING ACTS
Performance Fee
Negotiated per act and paid in full by direct deposit through Gusto, 1 to 2 business days after the show. No deposit required. No cash or check.
Lodging
A Royal Gorge vacation rental for the band stay. We own the vacation rental operation, so the room is on us.
A Full Meal
A full meal provided for the band on show day.
Food & Beverage Tab
A $25 per person tab for the band and crew at the bar and kitchen. This is on top of the fee, not in place of it.
Adventure Trade Option
We own Royal Gorge Rafting and Royal Gorge Zip Line Tours. A portion of the fee can optionally be traded for rafting or zipline trips. Most acts take us up on it.
Show Format
About 3 sets, 180 minutes total, inside a 3.5 hour performance window. Breaks capped at 15 minutes, no more than two.
Sound & Stage
There is no house PA at either venue. For acts that need it, we arrange a PA system and a front of house engineer, contracted for the date and factored into the show budget. Send your input list and backline needs when you inquire and we will scope the production with you.
Promotion
We run active social media across both venues plus the Royal Gorge adventure brands. Acts provide assets (photo, logo, bio, links, and at least two social graphics or videos) at least 120 days before the show for cross-promotion. On time or it is forfeited.
